Who can attend a seminar?
Seminars held at the credit union are currently available to members only. However, we would love to speak at your next event! If you would like a representative from TEFCU to speak on one of these topics, please call us at 903-892-1505 to reserve a date, time, and topic. We request that these events have a group of 20 or more.

Why should I attend a seminar?
-- One in five households - more than 21 million consumers - have been affected by some sort of identity theft.*
-- In a survey of 1,000 Americans, 50% said their knowledge of credit reporting was fair or poor.*
-- In 2003, 1.6 million households - one in 73 - filed for bankruptcy. The continued growth of this number indicates that "last resort" bankruptcy, as it used to be considered, has now become a financial management fall-back for many people.*
-- Average credit card debt among people who have at least one card: $9,205.*

The more educated you are about these issues, the more you can protect yourself and your financial future.
