Sonya joined TEFCU in 2001 at our Sherman office as a member service representative, also known as a teller. Today as head teller, she is responsible for member services, notary service, opening and closing accounts, entry to safety deposit boxes, IRA deposits and withdrawals, and assisting other tellers as needed.

Earlier in her career, Sonya gained experience at Wendy’s, MHMR and Belk. She has earned her GED, as well as an associate's degree in accounting from Grayson College. Sonya’s hometown is Kansas City, but she has called Sherman home since 1995.
