TEFCU Membership

Texoma Educators Federal Credit Union is member-owned and operated.  When you become a member, you become one of its owners - and you share in the credit union's success.

The credit union accepts your savings deposits and invests them to earn income, primarily by lending money to its members.  However, there is one very unique difference between us and other financial institutions...

By law, we are a not-for-profit organization, so the income earned through investments is returned to the members in the form of low cost loans, competitive returns on savings, and a range of convenient services.

Because credit unions are unique financial institutions, made up of sponsoring or partnering organizations, as a rule all persons must meet eligibility requirements to become a member. See the bullets below to see how you might be eligible for TEFCU membership.

  • If you or an immediate family member is an employee of any of our partner organizations. Our partner organizations can include companies, firms, associations, churches, schools, and more.
  • If you live, work, worship, attend school or regularly conduct business in the following counties: Grayson County, TX; Atoka, Bryan or Marshall Counties, OK.
